Our Mission

   Our philosophy here at Bright Beginnings is to provide a balance of both children directed play and discovery , and teacher directed time. The daily schedule helps all children learn to cope with transitions, self direct and listen to and follow directions. In our class children will learn and refine the social skills needed for being in a group setting: sharing, taking turns, listening and considering other people's feelings. At Bright Beginnings kids are like "family", they learn to get along, overcome problems, help, support, and respect each other. We create a positive environment by modeling respectful behavior and offering strategies and guidance to overcome problems.

   Our mission is to provide high quality, developmentally appropriate child care for each individual child's age and ability to stimulate social, cognitive, physical and emotional growth, also to provide a safe, nurturing and recreational environment for school age children.We believe that children thrive in an environment which values their own uniqueness, while providing support and opportunities to grow emotionally, socially and creatively. Each child is considered unique in temperament and rate of development.
